We asked festival participants quick-fire questions. P.K.14′s Yang Haisong (China) answered the questions first.

Have you been to Russia before? Why did you accept the invitation to the V-ROX? Why is it interesting for you?

No, it first time for all of us. There’re many many reasons make us interesting in playing Russia. One is enough, you speak the same language as Dostoevsky.

What russian bands do you know besides “MT” and what music do they perform?

I like Kino a lot, I listened their music for many years. And Vladimir Vysotsky as well.

Which of your songs should people listen to before your performance at the festival

Hard to pick. Maybe “1984 pt.1 ” and “1984 pt. 2″.

How do you promote yourselves to the music market? What resources and mechanisms do you use?

Basically we are DIY band, and self-manager.

What’s the uniqueness of your band? How are you different from other bands and singers?

I don’t know how to say about P.K.14 is different from other bands, I think every personal is unique, that’s make every band and the world interesting.
